Swirls of salmon pink interspersed with lighter baby pink have been used create the delicate marbled aesthetic of Pineider's Avatar UR Angel Skin fountain pen. Revolutionary materials and assembly processes have been combined with impeccable engineering to produce a writing instrument with exceptional functionality and aesthetic quality.
Constructed utilising a new technology called “GlueLess”, each component has been produced through a combination of 3D engineering and high precision manufacture to accurately slot into each other without the need for glue. The gloriously glossy barrel is crafted from UltraResin; a mother of pearl compound resin developed especially for Pineider in Florence. The result is a writing instrument with exceptional durability, resistance to scratching and stunning iridescent aesthetics. Pineider's Avatar is adorned with a number of polished palladium plated trims, creating a striking contrast against the soft pink barrel and adding to the pens opulence. A delicately engraved cap band surrounds the centre, displaying an exquisite skyline of Florence, whilst the cap top is embellished with a beautiful marine steel, quill clip, a reference to the origins of writing. This attention to detail continues with a magnetised cap enabling effortless removal and attachment to the barrel. Mylar film lines its interior to produce a soft touch closing cap which prevents the magnet from corroding. Its oval form and tapered barrel end combined with a beautifully engraved steel nib ensures a delightful writing experience.

PORTABLE DESK SET – Avatar comes in a rich, pine green trapezium-like box also containing Pineider paper and watermarked envelopes. The box opens from the top outwards via two lids, transforming into a portable desk area. The pen sits above on a leatherette lining whilst the paper and envelopes sit below.
SPECIFICATION – Avatar can be used with a convertor or standard international cartridges enabling flexibility in use. Crafted by Pineider from UltraResin gives it exceptional properties including: extreme rigidity, resistance to oil, ink and electricity as well as extreme temperatures and being dropped, ensuring longevity.
