Visconti Van Gogh Starry Night Fountain Pen Indigo Blue
Visconti’s Van Gogh Starry Night fountain pen recreates elements of the famous painting with stunning, iridescent results. A marbling of midnight and sky blue, terracotta red, sunshine yellow and white reflect the swirling skies of the original, an effect created by hand mixing different resins together.
The unusual 18 sided barrel gradually tapers down to a circular grip, a design original to this collection. Like stars twinkling in the night sky, the facets shimmer as they hit the light producing a beautiful pearlescent aesthetic. This combined with the palladium plated brass section ensures a delightfully comfortable writing experience. The barrel is contrasted with a few further palladium plated trims including a cap band embossed with the painters name and the painting title. A small, circular finial pressed with the Visconti logo delicately adorns the cap top. Part of the My Pen System, this finial can be removed using a Visconti magnet and personalised with your initials, Zodiac sign or a precious stone.
Decorating the cap is the famous Visconti bridge clip, styled on the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. It is sprung for effortless attachment to pockets or notebooks and to ensure secure and safe transportation. The barrel smoothly separates from the section using a screw thread revealing a convertor inside, meanwhile the cap is magnetised for seamless removal and secure attachment. An A66 stainless steel nib etched with the Visconti logo beautifully finishes the design.

Inside the pen lies on a stepped, plush cushion; a decorative bookmark of the painting the pen references sits by its side.
SPECIFICATION – This pen is usable with a convertor or standard international cartridges allowing you to write in a broad spectrum of colours. Acrylic components and palladium plated brass trims result in a product designed to last.
